La Wupper est une rivière de Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie , appelée Wipper dans son cours supérieur. Cet affluent du Rhin prend sa source dans la prairie de Marienheide, entre les communes de Börlinghausen et de Meinerzhagen, dans le pays de Berg. Il se jette dans le Rhin à Leverkusen, entre les quartiers de Wiesdorf et de Rheindorf, au terme d'un cours 116,5 km et une dénivelée de 400 m . Son débit moyen est de 17 m3/s à la confluence.
