L'église évangélico-luthérienne Saint-Marie et Saint-Barthélemy se trouve à Harsefeld, un hameau dans le district de Stade en Basse-Saxe. La paroisse appartient au district ecclésiastique de Buxtehude dans le diocèse de Stade de l'Église évangélico-luthérienne de Hanovre.
Un château et une église ont été construits en 969 par Heinrich von Stade. À la place du château, un chapitre collégial a été fondé, qui a ensuite été transformé en monastère bénédictin. Le monastère de Harsefeld a été dissous en 1647. L'église Saint-Marie et Saint-Barthélemy est l'ancienne église monastique, construite au milieu du XIVe siècle en briques. La pose de la première pierre pour le chœur médiéval est attestée avant 1445.
