Breil-sur-Roya [bʁɛj syʁ ʁwaja] et en italien Breglio ou Breglio sul Roia, est une commune française située dans le département des Alpes-Maritimes en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Ses habitants sont appelés les Breillois.
La langue parlée à Breil est le Breillois rattaché au royasque, et donc au Ligure. En langue provençale niçoise, on dit Brelh de Ròia ou Brei et les habitants sont I Brelhenquis ou Lu Breienc .
