Caylus, [kajlys] prononciation locale, Cailutz en occitan, anciennement Caylus-Bonnette, est une commune française située dans le nord-est du département de Tarn-et-Garonne, en région Occitanie.Sur le plan historique et culturel, la commune est dans le causse de Caylus, au sud du causse de Limogne, occupant une situation de carrefour à la limite du Quercy et du Rouergue.
