La Lys est une rivière qui prend sa source à Lisbourg (Nord de la France). La source est l'un des exemples les plus typiques d'une source artésienne naturelle.
En 1984, la Lys a surpris les habitants de Lisbourg. La rivière a alors créé un trou dans l'asphalte quelques mètres plus loin de la source d'origine et a jailli. Ainsi, la source de la rivière est devenue un étang qui s'écoule sous la route et réapparaît de l'autre côté comme un ruisseau et pénètre davantage dans la plaine.
