Chipping Campden est une petite ville de marché située dans les Cotswolds. Elle est célèbre pour sa rue principale élégante, bordée de terrasses, datant du 14ème au 17ème siècle. Depuis 1610, la ville abrite un championnat de jeux ruraux, qui se transforma par la suite en Jeux Olympiques de Cotswold de Robert Dover.
