Carreg Dwfn est une colline située à quatre miles au sud-est de Llandeilo et juste au sud du village de Trap, dans le comté de Carmarthenshire, au sud du Pays de Galles. Elle se trouve à l'extrémité occidentale du parc national de Brecon Beacons et du géoparc de Fforest Fawr. Son sommet, à 283 mètres, est situé vers l'extrémité orientale d'une crête rocheuse orientée est-ouest.
