L'Église méthodiste indépendante de Newbuildings est située sur la route Duncastle dans le village de Newbuildings, à environ 5 miles de Derry en Irlande du Nord. Elle a été officiellement inaugurée en 1985 sous le ministère du Révérend Robert Maxwell. Le Révérend Maxwell a commencé son travail évangéliste en 1978. Il a continué à ministérer auprès de la congrégation jusqu'en 1988 lorsqu'il a accepté l'appel de l'Église méthodiste indépendante de Dungannon.
