Le château de Kindlestown est situé sur les pentes de la colline de Kindlestown, au nord de Delgany, à 1,9 km à l'ouest de la gare de Greystones, et près du développement résidentiel de Dromont.
Le château de Kindlestown est un exemple tardif de maison à salle en pierre, offrant une bonne vue sur la campagne et la mer d'Irlande. Le château tire son nom de son association avec Albert de Kenley, qui aurait été son constructeur à la fin du XIIIe siècle. D'autres lui attribuent une date antérieure de 1225, l'associant à Walter de Bendeville.
