L'Abbaye San Salvatore est un monastère d'origine bénédictine qui a donné son nom à la ville d'Abbadia San Salvatore sur le territoire de laquelle elle est située en province de Sienne, sur le flanc est du Mont Amiata.
L'abbaye fut fondée sur la via Francigena en 762 par le duc lombard Ratchis et sa période de splendeur se situe aux Xe et XIe siècles.
