Portoscuso est une commune italienne d'environ 5 200 habitants, située dans la province du Sud-Sardaigne, dans la région Sardaigne, en Italie.
Bien que la présence humaine sur ce territoire remonte à l'époque préhistorique , la ville actuelle est née au XVIIe siècle d'un hameau habité par des pêcheurs de thon et coraux . Son nom provient du catalan Port Escos . Portoscuso est devenu une municipalité en 1853. Les sites plus remarquables sont la Tour espagnole , l'église de la Madonna d'Itria et l'arsenal, connu sous le nom de Su Pranu .
