L'ancienne église garnison de Oudeschans, une église de style salle, a été construite en 1626 et servait à l'origine pour les militaires stationnés à Oudeschans, dans la province de Groningue.
Particulier est que l'église et le presbytère forment un tout. En 1772, l'église et le presbytère ont été reliés. Jusqu'à cette époque, l'église faisait partie du complexe du Landhuys, où toutes les affaires militaires étaient réglées.
