La tour a une hauteur de 8,85 mètres et se trouve sur un terrain surélevé. Une cloison divise le réservoir en deux parties égales de 25 m3 chacune. Le réservoir d'eau rond a un diamètre de 5,1 mètres.
Un chauffage en bas de la tour permet d'éviter que la tour ne gèle en hiver. Auparavant, un poêle à charbon était utilisé ici. La tour d'eau a été en service jusqu'en 1954. Le réservoir a bénéficié d'un grand entretien en 2002. La tour est toujours utilisée à des fins industrielles.
