Gelre hôpitaux Apeldoorn est un grand hôpital universitaire dans la commune d'Apeldoorn. Environ 2200 personnes y travaillent ; l'hôpital est ainsi l'un des plus grands employeurs d'Apeldoorn. Début 2009, le centre de santé, qui était jusqu'alors situé à l'emplacement Juliana, a été établi dans l'hôpital. La zone de soins du centre de santé comprend les communes d'Apeldoorn, Epe, Brummen et Voorst. Le centre de santé est depuis 2009 hébergé dans le bâtiment hospitalier rénové sur l'avenue Albert Schweitzer. L'emplacement de l'hôpital Juliana faisait partie jusqu'en 2009 de Gelre hôpitaux Apeldoorn.
