Dans le Koegriend de Meers le long de Meuse se trouvent quinze troncs d'arbres qui laissent supposer qu'une forêt a brûlé ici. La vérité est cependant différente. Les arbres ont entre 1400 et 1700 ans et font partie d'un nouveau monument, Woodhenge. Les arbres ont été découverts sous le gravier lors de l'extraction à Stevensweert. Ils symbolisent la force de la mère nature.
