Le
moulin de Sint-Hubertus a été construit en 1802 à la demande du fermier Willem Kerckhoffs
de Klein Genhout. Entre 1814 et 1826, le moulin a été clos et depuis lors
c'est un moulin à pivot dit fermé.
Le moulin
est vendu en 1928 par la famille Kerckhoffs à meunier Louis Voncken.
Le moulin reste en service jusqu'aux années quarante du siècle dernier et
tombe ensuite en ruine. Comme il y a de moins en moins de mouture, le moulin
se dégrade rapidement. En 1970, la Commune de Beek achète le moulin pour la somme symbolique d'1 florin. La commune restaure et rénove le moulin en profondeur.
Depuis, le moulin Hubertus est un monument national et une attraction
particulière.
