La rivière Mun, parfois écrite Moon River, est un affluent du fleuve Mékong. Elle transporte environ 26 kilomètres cubes d'eau par an. La rivière commence dans la zone du parc national de Khao Yai, dans la chaîne de San Kamphaeng, près de Nakhon Ratchasima, dans le nord-est de la Thaïlande. Elle s'écoule vers l'est à travers le plateau de Khorat dans le sud de l'Isan (provinces de Buriram, Surin et Sisaket) sur 750 kilomètres, jusqu'à rejoindre le Mékong à Khong Chiam dans la province d'Ubon Ratchathani. Le principal affluent de la rivière Mun est la rivière Chi, qui la rejoint dans le district de Kanthararom de la province de Sisaket. [Wikipedia]
