Le pont Charlestown High traversait la rivière Charles à Boston, Massachusetts, et faisait partie de l'I-93/US 1 à l'extrémité nord de l'Artery Central.
Ce pont en treillis à double niveau, construit en 1954, devait à l'origine transporter l'I-95 à travers Boston du sud-ouest au nord-est en tandem avec le pont Tobin, construit en 1950. Le projet de l'I-95 et plusieurs autres projets d'autoroutes dans et autour de Boston, y compris le très controversé Inner Belt et le Southwest Corridor, qui achevait la voie destinée à amener l'I-95 à Boston depuis Providence, RI, ont été annulés en raison d'une forte opposition publique au début des années 1970. L'I-93 a pu être complété depuis la Yankee Division Highway jusqu'au pied du pont Charlestown High en 1969, et la désignation de l'I-93 a été étendue au pont et à l'Artery Central au début des années 1970.
