La Mesa House fu costruita a metà del XVIII secolo e poi ristrutturata in stile storicista, conferendole l'aspetto attuale all'inizio del XX secolo.
Della costruzione originaria si è conservata la facciata con lo stemma della famiglia Mesa , discendenti dei conquistatori di Tenerife, che ricevettero quote importanti nella spartizione delle terre. L'interessante stemma marmoreo reca una corona che ricorda che la famiglia fu fregiata dei due titoli di Margraviato di Torre Hermosa nel XVII secolo e di Margraviato di Casa Hermosa nel XVIII secolo.
Porta anche la data 1599 in ricordo della partecipazione del capitano Lope de Mesa alla difesa di Gran Canaria contro il pirata olandese Pieter van der Does in quell'anno.
