Tösens è un comune con 755 abitanti nel distretto di Landeck nel territorio del Tirolo. Il comune fa parte del distretto giuridico di Landeck. Tösens si trova in un punto stretto dell'Alta Giustizia, l'ultima sezione della valle dell'Inn tirolese. Il territorio comunale comprende il bacino del torrente Tösner, che si immette nell'Inn presso Egg. Questo scorre a un'altitudine di circa 900 metri. Da lì, il terreno sale verso est, prima coperto da boschi, poi attraverso alpeggi e infine in alta montagna fino a oltre 3000 metri nel crinale del Glockturm delle Alpi Ötztaler. Le vette più alte sono Innere Rifenkarspitze, Pfroslkopf, Glockhaus e Bergler Fernerkopf.
