Una copia della famosa mappa dei viaggi romani, la Tabula Peutingeriana, del III-IV secolo può essere trovata nella Biblioteca Nazionale Austriaca. La mappa fu realizzata da un monaco di Colmar. Attraverso varie persone arrivò nelle mani dell'umanista Konrad Peutinger di Augusta, da cui prende il nome.
