Il Wildmoossee è un lago che appare episodicamente, situato a tre chilometri a ovest di Seefeld in Tirolo, nell'area della località di Wildmoos del comune austriaco di Telfs. Il lago si trova nell'area del dolomite principale solubile in acqua dell'altopiano di Seefeld a 1316 m s.l.m.. Pertanto, il sottosuolo è attraversato da crepe che raggiungono fino al fondo del lago. Circa ogni quattro anni, a causa dello scioglimento della neve e delle precipitazioni, si accumula così tanta acqua sotterranea che, sotto pressione, fuoriesce dalle crepe come un geyser e riempie il bacino del lago. Il livello massimo dell'acqua viene solitamente raggiunto a maggio. In tardo autunno, il lago si svuota di nuovo.
