Il Castello di Rottenegg è un castello in rovina vicino al villaggio di Rottenegg nel comune di Sankt Gotthard im Mühlkreis, Austria. Risale al XIII secolo ed è stato costruito per proteggere una via di commercio medievale. Dopo il 1712, il castello è stato lasciato in decadenza e gran parte di esso è scomparsa.
Il Castello di Rottenegg si trova in Alta Austria, a circa 14 chilometri a nord-ovest di Linz. Si trova a circa 3,7 chilometri a nord di Ottensheim, che si affaccia sul Danubio. Il castello in rovina si trova su un promontorio roccioso sporgente dove il Kleinen Rodl entra nel fiume Großen Rodl da nord, affacciandosi sulla confluenza. Proteggeva un'antica via commerciale che passava da questo luogo.
