La stazione di Beveren-Waas è stata inaugurata il 26 febbraio 1845 e si trova sulla linea ferroviaria 59. Nei primi anni c'era solo un collegamento tra Sint-Niklaas e il Vlaams Hoofd (Anversa), ma ben presto questa linea ferroviaria si è estesa verso Gand e infine fino a Oostende. Nella prima fase, la stazione era composta da un edificio più piccolo che nel 1902 è stato sostituito dall'attuale edificio della stazione. L'edificio è composto da una parte centrale e due brevi ali laterali. La stazione era inoltre situata vicino alla fabbrica del gas che aveva una propria linea di accesso per il rifornimento di carbone.
