Moltissimo bel panorama sul laghetto sotto la Montagna. Questo è uno dei laghetti più preziosi del Belgio, anche se quasi non si vede più acqua aperta. È praticamente completamente ricoperto da un tappeto di muschio galleggiante su cui crescono piante particolari come il cotone a un gambo, il mirtillo palustre, il drosera rotondo, la carice a fili, la barbiglia bianca,... Questo è un luogo molto speciale poiché è l'unico luogo in Belgio dove si trova il giunco di muschio.
In primavera qui volano tantissimi piccoli vegetali.
Nella zona di confine del laghetto puoi trovare il trifoglio d'acqua, il pitrus, la fragola d'acqua e il cerf rosso palustre. Il laghetto ospita una ricchezza di libellule e anfibi come il rospo comune.
Data la vulnerabilità di queste vegetazioni, è assolutamente sconsigliato entrare nel laghetto.
