La chiesa è dedicata a San Maurizio e ai suoi compagni, la legione tebana. La costruzione della torre iniziò poco dopo il 1200. L'effettivo edificio della chiesa neogotica risale al 1896-1897 ed è stato progettato dall'architetto J. Carette. Il vecchio portale della torre è protetto dal 1939. Nella chiesa sono appesi alcuni dipinti del XVIII secolo.
