Questo lungo rilievo sabbioso si estende da Retie a Grobbendonk. La Collina di Kempen è un'area naturale unica nelle Kempen fiamminghe, conosciuta come il più grande rilievo della regione. È un residuo di dune terrestri formatesi quando il mare si ritirò. La collina si estende per 15 km e collega comuni come Retie, Kasterlee, Herentals, Lille, Vorselaar e Grobbendonk. L'area è composta da foreste di conifere, brughiere, laghetti (come Zwart Water e Snepkensvijver), dune paraboliche e strade convesse. Ha una ricca biodiversità con piante rare come il rododendro, la piccola drosera e il muschio di torba.
