Dalla Zoutedijk si ha una buona vista sull'inizio del canale Schelda-Reno. Questo è stato costruito nel 1975 e inizia all'altezza di Zandvliet dal Kanaaldok in direzione nord. È una rotta navigabile che connette Anversa a Rotterdam.
