Con i suoi lunghi antenne curve, che richiamano l'erba tipica del casco, la Torre Warande è una presenza elegante e slanciata. Dalla base (7 metri) si ha una bella vista sulle dune di Warande, un'area naturale molto preziosa con piante e animali particolari. Chi scala fino in cima (20 metri) può, come un marinario nel suo nido d'aquila, scrutare l'orizzonte: Middelkerke e Westende, le vaste paludi, numerose opere d'arte di Beaufort e ovviamente il mare. La struttura in acciaio è stata costruita sopra i resti del vecchio serbatoio idrico. Questi è scomparso ma la sua funzione originale no. Un'ampia parte di Middelkerke continua ad essere fornita di acqua potabile da qui.
