Fondata nel 1899, la Filature du Rabot era specializzata nella filatura e torsione del juta. Dopo la Seconda guerra mondiale, l'azienda crebbe notevolmente grazie all'acquisizione di tre fabbriche vicine, ma dichiarò bancarotta nel 1999. Dopo anni di abbandono, la maggior parte degli edifici ha lasciato spazio a nuove case e spazi aperti.
