Il ex castello De Pierpont, costruito nella prima metà del XIX secolo, si trova nel bellissimo parco Olmenhof. Il parco comprende numerosi alberi esotici innestati su ceppi autoctoni. Questa antica vivaio si trova alla base di famiglie rinomate di vivaisti a Herk-de-Stad. I nomi Tips e Gevers li hai forse già visti lungo il percorso? Sul retro del parco si erge un grande monumento in onore di Govaert Wendelen (1580-1667), sacerdote e astronomo.
