La linea ferroviaria del Boschetto di Sonian è stata attiva tra il 1902 e il 1920. Da allora è scomparsa e lascia come unica traccia della sua esistenza un capanno isolato nel mezzo del bosco. Questo capanno è stato restaurato nel 2003 e funge da deposito per i guardaparco, e il tetto è stato adattato per ospitare pipistrelli.
Questa linea lunga 2,5 km collegava Kleine Hut (Uccle) con la sommità del parco Tournay-Solvay (Boitsfort), dove si incontrava con la linea ferroviaria Bruxelles - Namur - Lussemburgo (ancora presente). Segue in particolare la linea di cresta che passava per il sito neolitico dei due tumuli funerari.
Dopo la Prima Guerra Mondiale è stata abbandonata per motivi di redditività. Questa linea ferroviaria trasportava pietra per strade boschive ed è stata utilizzata anche per il trasporto di legname.
