Questa antica galleria mineraria rettilinea lunga 1,5 km, è stata scavata a metà del XIX secolo, nella roccia, sotto l'attuale cimitero di Robermont. Doveva permettere lo sfruttamento delle vene di carbone che furono tuttavia oggetto di attività estrattiva da molto più tempo. Oltre al suo valore archeologico, il sito presenta un certo interesse dal punto di vista geologico, sismico e anche biologico poiché contiene diverse specie cavernicole.
Accesso del pubblico: L'accesso alla galleria è regolamentato: sono consentite solo le visite a scopo scientifico e pedagogico esclusivamente previa autorizzazione del comitato di gestione del sito. Nessun sfruttamento turistico è tollerato.
