La chiesa di San Giovanni Battista è la chiesa parrocchiale di Grammene, situata in Koffiebeekstraat e Sint-Janstraat.
Nel 1121 la chiesa fu menzionata per la prima volta, quando il diritto di patronato fu donato all'abbazia di San Bavone a Gand. La chiesa si trovava su una dorsale sabbiosa in prossimità della Leie, e apparteneva probabilmente inizialmente alla sede della signoria. Si trattava di una chiesa a navata unica a croce, che subì modifiche nei secoli XVI e XVIII. La chiesa aveva un campanile ottagonale che probabilmente originariamente era una torre di transetto e risaliva al XIII secolo. La chiesa fu incendiata nel 1592 dai devastatori di immagini e, durante il restauro, intorno al 1609, la torre fu innalzata.
