Den Dikke di Sesjans è una statua bronzea di un cavallo, situata nella pianura erbosa accanto a Piazza Sint-Jans a Hemelveerdegem. L'opera d'arte è stata realizzata da Jan Desmarets ed è stata eretta in onore di un leggendario stallone, conosciuto nella vita reale come "Den Dikke". Questo stallone era uno dei progenitori del cavallo da tiro belga e ha svolto un ruolo importante nell'allevamento locale di stalloni, che è esistito per cento anni nella famiglia Matthijs-De Mey.
