Al centro di Meyerode, c'è un monumento ai caduti vicino alla chiesa in memoria degli eroi e delle vittime di Meyerode che hanno perso la vita durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale 1914-1918 e la Seconda Guerra Mondiale 1940-1945. I nomi dei soldati caduti in battaglia e le loro date di nascita e di morte sono iscritti sul pilastro. Un rotolo di pietra riporta la seguente iscrizione: « Nell'amore immortale per le vittime di guerra di Meyerode 1914-1918 e 1940-1945 ».
