Bellissima passeggiata (circa il 90% non asfaltata) attraverso le foreste di Halse. Questa passeggiata è composta da due anelli di 6 km che possono essere facilmente separati.
Il forte di Oelegem ha una struttura trapezoidale circondata da un fossato largo 40-50 m. La superficie era di circa 20 ettari. Il forte è un cosiddetto forte di prima classe (come Koningkshooikt) con armamenti e potenza di fuoco superiori a quelli dei forti di seconda classe (come Breendonk, Broechem, Ertbrand, ecc.).
