La Venntrilogia collega tre paesaggi caratteristici per il Belgio orientale: il paesaggio di prati e siepi a nord, il paesaggio paludoso dell'Alto Venn e il paesaggio montuoso di foreste e laghi a sud. Dal lato tedesco, il sentiero Eifelsteig lungo 313 chilometri tra Kornelimünster e Treviri è considerato uno dei sentieri escursionistici più popolari d'Europa. La Venntrilogia e l'Eifelsteig possono anche essere combinati tramite un percorso di collegamento oltreconfine segnalato.
