Questo interessante tour in bicicletta a forma di anello lungo i 8 villaggi di Heuvelland parte da Dries nella frazione di Kemmel, dove si trova anche l'ufficio turistico di Heuvelland.
Percorriamo non su ma attorno al Kemmelberg, Rodeberg e Scherpeberg e godiamo delle molteplici viste panoramiche uniche.
Il percorso va da Kemmel attraverso Wijtschate, Wulvergem, Nieuwkerke, Dranouter, Loker, Westouter, De Klijte fino a Kemmel.
Lungo la strada incontriamo numerosi reperti della Prima Guerra Mondiale: cimiteri militari, monumenti, bunker, trincee tedesche, crateri di mine.
Ma pedaliamo anche lungo bellissimi vigneti, pittoreschi piazzali, splendidi terreni naturali e molti negozi locali; non manca di cibo e bevande!
