Partendo dal tranquillo paesino di Bierbeek, facciamo un'escursione attraverso strade incassate e lungo il Molenbeek verso uno degli ultimi resti (insieme all'Hallerbos e al Bois de la Cambre) della foresta originaria di Kolenwoud, ossia il Mollendaalbos (che è parte del Meerdaalwoud).
