Ha un percorso estremamente vario di 85 km, attraverso una parte delle Ardenne, attraverso la depressione delle Famenne e infine per un tratto attraverso il Condroz Namurois. Questa parte della Lesse, tra Chanly - Daverdisse - Redu, è sicuramente uno dei tratti più belli.
