La pista ciclabile Polar Bear è stata inaugurata nel 2014. La pista è lunga 32 km e ti porta oltre monumenti e siti commemorativi legati alla Seconda Guerra Mondiale.
Perché un orso polare come segnale? I soldati che hanno liberato Wuustwezel erano britannici della 49ª Divisione di Fanteria (West Riding) e avevano un orso polare come simbolo. Questo percorso e il monumento lungo la Kruisweg ricordano permanentemente gli uomini che portavano l'orso polare sulla loro uniforme.
