La chiesa di Schinznach-Dorf è attestata per la prima volta in un documento del 1227. E 'stato costruito in stile romanico. Una torre gotica fu successivamente aggiunta a questa torre e nel 1650 la cappella di Erlach fu aggiunta al lato sud di essa.
