La centrale nucleare di Mühleberg si trova nel comune di Mühleberg , a circa 14 km a ovest della città di Berna e a circa 2 km a nord del villaggio e vicino all'omonima centrale idroelettrica. È gestita dalla BKW FMB Energie SA ; dal 20 dicembre 2019 non produce più energia elettrica ed è iniziata la procedura per la sua dismissione.
Possiede un reattore ad acqua bollente fornito dalla General Electric con una potenza termica di 1097 MW ed una elettrica netta di 373 MW. Viene raffreddato attingendo direttamente all'acqua del fiume Aar. La costruzione iniziò nel 1967 e venne messo in esercizio nel 1972.
