Il monastero ex Premonstratense di Cappenberg del XII secolo a Selm nel distretto di Unna fu acquistato nel 1816 dal barone Karl vom und zum Stein e utilizzato come residenza per anziani, fino a quando morì lì nel 1831 all'età di 74 anni.
