Rosenbach è un comune sassone nel distretto di Görlitz, nato nel 1994 dalla fusione dei comuni di Bischdorf e Herwigsdorf.
Il comune di Rosenbach si trova nella parte meridionale del distretto, circa 5 km a est di Löbau, a un'altitudine di 237 fino a 350 m. La strada statale 6 e la linea ferroviaria Görlitz–Dresda si snodano a nord del comune. La vetta più alta del territorio comunale è il dominante Rotstein con 455 m.
