La città di Vöhrenbach si trova nella valle del Breg nell'area centrale della Foresta Nera, tra Furtwangen e il capoluogo di distretto Villingen-Schwenningen. La percentuale di bosco sulla superficie totale è del 77%.
La città confina in senso orario, partendo da nord, con la città di St. Georgen nella Foresta Nera, a est con Villingen-Schwenningen, Unterkirnach e Donaueschingen, a sud con Bräunlingen ed Eisenbach, nell'estremo sud-ovest con Titisee-Neustadt e a ovest con la città di Furtwangen. A parte Eisenbach e Titisee-Neustadt, i comuni confinanti appartengono al distretto della Foresta Nera-Baar.
