Bardowick è un centro abitato nel distretto di Lüneburg in Bassa Sassonia ed è uno dei sette comuni membri della comunità aggregata di Bardowick.
Il centro abitato di Bardowick si trova sulla riva sinistra dell'Ilmenau, tra Winsen e Lüneburg. Bardowick ha acquisito, in gran parte rispetto a Lüneburg, un carattere suburbano e cresce a nord di Lüneburg insieme alla città. La distanza tra Bardowick e il centro città è di circa cinque chilometri. Bardowick forma con i luoghi di Reppenstedt, Vögelsen e Adendorf, così come Deutsch Evern e Wendisch Evern, un'area densamente popolata attorno al centro cittadino di Lüneburg con circa 30.000 abitanti.
