Weilburg è una città di piccole dimensioni e una stazione climatica riconosciuta dallo stato con 12.939 abitanti nel distretto di Limburg-Weilburg nell'Hesse, nella regione governativa di Gießen. È stata una città residenziale nel Medio Hesse e oggi fa parte della regione del Reno-Mai. Weilburg si trova geograficamente tra le montagne medie del Westerwald e del Taunus ed è, dopo Limburg an der Lahn e Bad Camberg, la terza città più popolosa del distretto.
