Dörzbach è un comune nel distretto di Hohenlohe nel nord-est della Baviera, caratterizzato da influenze francone. Appartiene alla regione di Heilbronn-Franken.
La superficie comunale di Dörzbach si trova nell'area naturale delle pianure Kocher-Jagst a un'altitudine compresa tra 230 e 430 m s.l.m. ed è attraversata dal grande arco settentrionale della media Jagst. I luoghi abitati si trovano nella valle del Muschelkalk del fiume, in alcune valli secondarie e sulle alture circostanti. Il capoluogo dà il nome al comune ed è situato sulla riva destra della Jagst; all'estremità nord del paese si immette in essa il torrente che proviene dalla breve Eselklinge, mentre all'estremità del centro abitato sfocia quello che proviene dalla più lunga Kiesgraben, e infine nel centro abitato c'è il Goldbach lungo circa 5 km.
